Ableton Chord Machine MIDI effect | Push 2 Compatible

Use this simple MIDI effect to create new chord progressions, no music theory required!

Easily trigger major, minor and diminished chords, harness the power of jazzy 7th and 9th chords and activate 1st, 2nd and 3rd inversions.

HOW TO USE IT (like a boss): 

1. Add the Handsome Hansel - Chord Machine to any MIDI track

2. Place your instrument of choice after the Chord Machine

3. Play notes in the Key of C major or A minor to trigger the chords

4. Use the "T-7-9" to alter chord voicing from Triads, Sevenths, and 9th chords

0=TRIAD

1=SEVENTH

2=NINTHS

5. Use the "INVERSION" knob to switch to first, second, and third inversions

6. Use the “LOW OCTAVE” knob to Turn on the low octave root note


HOW TO RECORD YOUR PROGRESSION (like a boss)

1. Create a new MIDI track (ensure there are no devices in the MIDI track's device chain)

2. Route the in input of your new MIDI track to the output of the track containing your chord device
3. Activate "record arm" on your new MIDI track

4. Hit the record button

*If you are performing the chords while you are recording activate "record arm" on the chord machine track
